Here we are at the trail head, ready to start, 5 minutes before the sun went down!






On top of Springer Mountain, the official start (or end) of the 2000 mile AT trail.



Back at the lodge. It was very fun to backpack right up to the check-in desk and to pile our gear in the lobby.
