Red Butte Backside Skiing, February 19th, 2006

There is space for one car to park to access upper pinecrest skiing. Today that spot was taken, so we opted to check out some skiing lower down, essentially on the backside of Red Butte Canyon.

Lookout Peak in the distance, Red Butte Canyon to the left.

Salt Lake City is down there somewhere in the white.

Suprisingly good skiing on this south face.

Sifting clouds always kept the scenery partly obscured and fun to watch.
