Sierras with the Utarded X-pat.
Skied the Mount Rose environs with an old friend. Massively pock marked snowfields was evidence that the place has a bad infestation of snowshoers.

Little Cottonwood closed/ It’s still snowing…
Apparently White Pine Chute slid last night and buried the road under 10 ft of debris. We went up Big Cottonwood to find out exactly how fast we could ski through the aspens.

Handful of stellars
Super cold conditions lovingly produce the super light snow that skiers have warm dreams about. This was one of those mornings.
